Developed by Tom McKenna, 'nade was a limited batch, do-anything sauce that offered authentic cultural flavors on a restaurant-quality level. Inspired by his global travels training culinary teams for Jean-Georges, Tom focused on the flavors of Thailand and Southeast Asian cuisine. He combined ingredients like garlic, ginger, and chili peppers to create a full-bodied sauce with a kick. After trying 'nade for the first time, I wanted the identity to reflect the powerful flavor and delightful culinary experience. Rich colors and charismatic type were key, all with a clean-palette sophistication. Highly saturated recipe photography brings a punch and playful illustration adds charm to the overall look and feel.
